Unlimited Rental Mileage
At SDVH, we realise that a mileage limit can sometimes curtail your plans when renting a car. Different from other rental services, we feel in giving our customers the liberty they deserve. Hence, all of our cars, aside from those used for courier services, come with unlimited mileage.
Our policy ensures that regardless of whether you’re driving around a city in the UK or embarking on a lengthy journey, your rental cost stays constant regardless of the miles covered. This can be particularly beneficial for extended trips or unexpected detours. Nevertheless, we suggest you to confirm with our customer service team that the car you’re considering is included in our unlimited mileage offer.
Entire United Kingdom Coverage
Explore more than 11 thousand miles of the UK’s beautiful coastline with SDVH. We guarantee hassle-free travel with our comprehensive car rental network throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Our extensive selection of cars caters to solo travellers, families and businesses equally. With flexible delivery and collection all over mainland UK, you’ll never be without proper transport. No matter if you’re considering a short journey or an extensive UK exploration, rely on us!
European Cover Option
Occasionally, driving across Europe is more appealing than hopping on a train or plane. You have the option to rent a car with us and journey in style across various EU nations, such as France, Spain, Germany, Ireland, Belgium, Portugal, and several others. Our unlimited mileage coverage also covers long-haul journeys into these EU-listed countries.
When reserving the vehicle, inform our agent of your plans to travel outside the UK. If you’re planning to go beyond the EU, also notify our reservation team in advance so we can arrange the details for your trip.
One Way Vehicle Rental
Not all journeys conclude at where they began. From time to time you might want to travel from A to B without planning to return to return the rented vehicle. With SDVH’s one-way car hire, this becomes feasible. Book a car in one UK location and return it at your final location.
Such an option simplifies travel by eliminating unnecessary rental durations. Instead of taking the car back to the initial rental point, reduce costs by dropping it off to a nearby depot or letting our team retrieve it from your final stop. Be aware that this one-way rental is exclusively available on UK mainland and includes an extra charge. Be sure to indicate your final location and collection date when booking.
Insurance Is Included
Nobody can foresee when accidents may occur, even the most careful among us. These unfortunate incidents may result in damage to the car and the passengers within, so it remains always best to be prepared. This is why any car rented from SDVH comes with comprehensive insurance, covering minor damages to the rented car and all passengers.
The insurance is included in the cost of car hire, so zero hidden charges to stress over. For additional protection, we provide a Collision Damage Waiver, which limits your excess liability for major car damages. Upon reservation, our team will tell you of the total car hire price, including insurance options.
Company Own Insurance - 10%
We realise that not all clients demand comprehensive rental car insurance. If you’re already insured by your business policy, there’s no need for us to give more coverage and we believe it’s unfair to charge you the same as everyone without insurance. Therefore if you previously have insurance, we give a 10% discount on each of car rentals.
This makes SDVH’s car rentals cheaper and still is accompanied with our other rental benefits. Kindly inform our agents about your existing insurance while booking a car hire to avail of this discount.

What To Do In Warlingham
Tucked into the eastern edge of Surrey, Warlingham has the feel of a countryside village without losing its suburban rhythm provided by its 8,000 residents. With plenty of green spaces, nature reserves and scenic walks, it’s an easy place to explore by car. It’s well-connected via the A22, with easy drives from nearby spots like Coulsdon and Caterham. Bluebells and blossom brighten spring and warm summer days draw walkers and families to the commons. Stop in for a day or stretch your visit across the weekend—there’s quiet variety in every corner.
Attractions In Warlingham
Warlingham doesn’t overwhelm you with options but that’s exactly the point. It’s the kind of place where the best things are found by wandering—or by taking a short drive and following where the lanes lead.
Whyteleafe Recreation Ground
Just off Hillbury Road, this large open space delivers what it promises—and then some. There’s a children’s play area, pavilion and loos, with plenty of room to kick a ball or walk the dog.
Parking’s free and the park is open 24 hours, which makes it a convenient stop if you’re driving through the area. We arrived mid-morning and caught a cricket warm-up on one side, families chatting near the swings and a pair of teenagers doing laps around the path.
Warlingham Green
More a community anchor than a conventional park, the Green is where everything comes together. Pubs, cafés, a butcher and a few benches set the tone—nothing flashy but full of life.
You don’t need an itinerary here. Just grab a coffee, sit under a tree and watch the village roll by. This spot draws a lot of interest from people in Wallington looking for a laid-back change of scenery.
Warlingham School Common
It’s easy to miss the path into this one. Hidden just off Westhall Road, the common stretches quietly behind the school grounds, edged by woodland and criss-crossed with walking trails.
We stopped on a whim during a drive from Redhill and ended up staying for a full hour. Not a sound except for birds and the occasional jogger. Great for an unplanned pause.
Blanchman’s Farm Local Nature Reserve
This one has more heart than first impressions suggest. From Limpsfield Road, you step into meadows lined with hedgerows and gentle walking tracks. It’s the kind of place where you’ll find local volunteers planting trees or topping up the bug hotels.
The signage is simple, the layout relaxed. We saw butterflies, heard wrens and barely crossed paths with anyone else.
Nore Hill Pinnacle
A glacial boulder, marooned on a hilltop? That’s exactly what Nore Hill offers—a geological leftover turned unexpected landmark.
It’s unassuming, unmarked and you might drive past twice before spotting the turn-in. But tucked within easy reach of Godstone, this oddity rewards those who take the time to find it. The views are an added bonus.
Sanderstead Pond
Tucked close to the Warlingham–Croydon border, this tiny green space offers a simple kind of peace. The pond reflects trees on still mornings and there are just enough benches for a relaxed break.
Kids love it. So do ducks. We pulled over for ten minutes and ended up staying closer to thirty.
Coulsdon Common
For something wilder, Coulsdon Common is hard to beat. It’s broad, lightly managed and perfect for longer rambles. Wide tracks cut through the trees, while smaller paths loop off unexpectedly.
Approaching from Oxted, we made this our first walk of the day. It’s not polished—and that’s exactly why it’s good.
Selsdon Wood
This is the kind of woodland where you lose track of time. Selsdon Wood isn’t showy but its winding paths and quiet glades draw you in.
There’s parking just off Old Farleigh Road. Once inside, it’s all birdsong, dappled light and the occasional muddy stretch. An ideal detour for drivers coming from Lingfield, especially if you’ve packed boots and don’t mind getting them dirty.
East Surrey Museum
Caterham’s little museum packs more into its rooms than you’d expect. While the display cabinets are modest, the stories behind them are thoughtfully told—Roman bits, wartime artefacts and even a small kids’ area.
Open Wednesday to Saturday, it’s a good rainy-day fallback if you’re passing through.
Happy Valley
We planned for a quick wander and ended up walking nearly three miles. Happy Valley isn’t just a lovely name—it’s a genuinely calming space.
Wide grassland rolls into wooded hills, with walking paths branching off in all directions. Wild deer are common and the stillness between the trees is almost cinematic. You’ll want walking boots for this one. It sits just beyond Warlingham’s edges, reachable by car in ten minutes.
A Quiet Pint Or Cosy Stop
Warlingham doesn’t overdo it—and that’s part of the charm. Expect independent cafés over chain names and family-run takeaways next to classic pubs. The White Lion on the Green is a cosy local choice, particularly for a Sunday roast, while Coffee at 412 is a popular spot for breakfast and espresso. For those staying overnight, options like The Whyteleafe Tavern offer a simple, budget-friendly base for exploring the wider area by car.
