When we brought our dogs to Wiggly Woods, they absolutely loved it! The woodland is secure, so you can let your dogs roam around freely without worrying. Test Your Skills at Dragon Archery

We were excited to try something new at Dragon Archery. None of us had much experience with archery, but the team there made it fun and easy to pick up. It was such a unique experience, and it felt good to hit a few targets by the end of the day! Visitors from Bideford often come here for a day of friendly competition and to try their hand at archery.

Discover the Ruins of Penhallam Manor

We decided to take a trip out to Penhallam Manor and were pleasantly surprised by how peaceful and secluded it was. Walking around the old ruins gave us a real sense of history, and it felt like stepping back in time. The quietness of the area made it a great place to reflect and enjoy some fresh air. It’s a favourite spot for history buffs from Okehampton, who often visit to explore the ruins.

One of the highlights of our trip was walking along Maer Cliff in Bude. The coastal views were absolutely stunning, and we could have stayed there all day just soaking in the beauty of the cliffs and the sea. It’s a popular walking spot, especially for those looking for a bit of fresh sea air. Groups from Clovelly regularly come here for the breathtaking scenery and the peaceful walks along the South West Coast Path.

Experience Farm Life at Southcombe Farm

Our visit to Southcombe Farm was a wonderful way to experience Devon’s rural life. The farm has a lovely, welcoming atmosphere, and it was great to get a closer look at how things work on a traditional farm. It was a nice break from the usual tourist spots, and it’s a popular destination for families and groups from Tavistock looking for a relaxed day out.

We couldn’t resist a visit to Hawker’s Hut, one of the most unique attractions in the area. Perched on the cliffs, the hut offers incredible views of the coastline, and knowing that it was once a retreat for a poet made it all the more interesting. It’s a quiet spot, perfect for taking in the coastal scenery, and groups from Chulmleigh often visit to admire the stunning surroundings and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

Relax by Tamar Lakes

Our day at Tamar Lakes was the perfect way to wind down after exploring Holsworthy. The lakes offer a range of activities, but we particularly enjoyed the leisurely walk around the water. It’s a great spot for groups, whether you’re into water sports or just looking for a peaceful walk.
